Flawed with awe

This idea journal direct me to Nick Vujicic. He lives with less hand and feet, it can be said like he has no hand and feet. His daily life is full of struggling to eat, drink, and do another activities. Finally, he is famous around us and becomes the inspiration for all of us.

Mechanism

From the source i found, mechanism is like a system of parts that operate or interact like those of a machine. Mechanism has many streams such as it can be used in Biology, Psychology, Phillosophy. The meaning of mechanism can be the arrangement of connecting part in the machine. Besides that, a habitual manner of acting to achieve an end. For the Biology, it can be meant like explaining how the creature can be created. For psychology, A usually unconcious mental and emotional pattern that shapes behavior in a given situation / environment. For Phillosophy, the doctrine that all natural phenomena are explicable by material causes and mechanical principles. Mechanism is always related to engineering. From mechanism word, it develops into mechanical engineering (machine), mechanical pencil, etc. So, the conclusion is mechanism is the agency / means by which an effect is produced / a purpose is accomplished.

My maps

This is my daily journey living here. First of all, I live in Suriamas. At Suriamas, i open my eyes and start a new day like open a new sheet of my book. Next, i usually use bus to attain my destination. My most destination is Sunway Pyramid and of course! Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. In the morning, i take the bus to go to Taylor's University and study until the class ends. After that, i wait at the bus stop in block B and the bus coming, take the bus and go home, but sometimes, i went to Sunway pyramid because the route pass Sunway Pyramid. After that, if i want to go home, i have to turn around because Suriamas is opposite Sunway Pyramid and the location is near the KTM Setiajaya.

Intellectual Food

Intellectual food is thinking about food based on the name but with unusual and unpredictable meaning. Like what my lecture said for the example, he used hotdog to explain "hot" relevant to sexy and "dog" like a person, so the meaning can be changed into sexy person or whatever.

Based on that explanation, i used "fried chicken" because for me "fried" can be related to crunchy, crispy, adorable, and full of suffering. Why? because when the chicken was boiled, they shouted so loud. It shows their pain. After that, they are fried and their skin colour changed to gold, makes it looks interesting and adorable. And become crispy after that. For me, fried is different from the original form because there is a technique to make it more shiny. Also, i think it can be related to fussy because when the chicken was eaten, it will be a sound. That's why i have the opinion that fried chicken can be similar with someone adorable and fussy.

Hybridology

During my searching about this topic, i find something interesting about this title. Yeah! hybridology is a transformation of something but "something" unthinkable. Something which is can be seen and can't. Also, it can be in creature form besides thing form.

For the creature form, i choose angel as the creature because sometimes, angel can be looked as a human. The difference is angel has wing and strong power while human doesn't have and it is fiction. Human just use their feet to walk and they don't have wing to fly.

For the thing form, i choose bible because many years ago, bible is made by paper and everyone needs a "book" of bible to go to the church. But now, we can use our iPhone or another gadgets to read the bible. We don't have to bring our bible as long as we have electronic bible (in handphone, ipad, etc). This is the transformation of how we can read bible. It is because of technology. Technology makes our life easier

Aesthetic vs Machine

Aesthetic... i think it means like a philosophy which is beautiful and merge the feeling of beauty and good taste also refresh our mind. Aesthetic art can be in pattern form, surrealism, or cubism. It also can be in fine art form. The most important from Aesthetic is it gives something new to attract people's attention and makes something interesting. 

Different from machine. Machine inspires me about technology. About the sophisticated of technology and usually identic with shape like robot, cars, or something visible and tangible. While aesthetic is like something intangible and abstract. We can't touch the thing but we can feel what the painter wants to say. We can feel the emotion from the image. 

"UNDER...WEAR" -.-a

One of our group assignment is to make something interesting from underwear. We ha ve to think out of the box, yeaaa think about something ridiculous, weird but funny. And this is the outcome from our idea. 

Oblique Strategies

First thinking about this topic, honestly i'm a little bit confused to understand what "oblique startegies" meaning, but after do some research, i can understand a bit about this idea journal.. hahaha, As i know oblique strategies is quite resemble with "thinking out of the box" because the meaning is almost the same or maybe really same. We need to think something different, something unpredictable, and this meaning direct me to the movie film called Harry Potter. Why? because no one can use the magic. It is something impossible for us. Also the setting and the costume aren't usual too. Their appearance is different from others. Actually this movie got many positive responses and after this movie released, another movie with same genres were released too. This movie influence other to make the movie which is almost the same.

Dream

Everyone has their dream everyday, their dream are different with each other for sure. I have different dream every day and my dream which i remember is about doing the exam. In my dream, i studied last night to pass my exam and then tomorrow morning i can do the exam well because i read a book and learn about it so i can answer the question well, but i don't know my score !! hahaha, also i'm not sure whether i make it true or false and my brain becomes blank sometimes. actually, book gives us a lot of information we want to know and from the book, our imagination can be improved xD. I don't know why i have those kind of dreams because dong the exam sometimes makes us forget about what we've learnt but my dream remembered it all. REMEMBER! it is just a dream hehehehe

Metamorphosis

 Metamorphosis, i think like an evolution of something to become another spectacular things and has variation of design, like i think before is toothpaste. A long time ago, toothpaste is made from wood and some feather but now, we can enjoy our toothpaste with better material. Paper also, first invention, just paper. No book, no other design but now, we can see the design of paper has metamorphed. From rectangle paper to abother form besides rectangle paper (Paper is designed in apple form, etc).

Out Of The box

First time i heard about "out of the box" is thinking about something new which is unique, different but have a meaning. Something that is not usual for most of people. And my creativity direct me to make clock with book cover because i think clock is a time who usually goes on without stop and everything we do in our time is our history. Like a book, we always open a new sheet every day. Starting a new day with something new. We don't know what will happen, but that will be written in our book as time goes by. So, do something useful with time we have because we can't repeat the time and also, everything we do is our history. Don't fill your book and waste your time with something useless xD

2. Poetic Possibilities !!!

yeah! this is my poetic possibilities, a little bit weird, but this is what i think about this exercise, hahaha, i imagined like i am being eaten by someone because my size is too small and people look at me like doll or maybe biscuit? hahaha, so my face is so surprised when someone ate me... hahahaha

music feeling??

good afternoon all, this is what i learnt on Monday, Oct 1st 2012. My lecture gave us the song to be listened and we have to draw "line" based on that song with variation of colour. But i just brought purple and pink stabilo, so it became like this. I don't know why i drew those lines, but i hope you enjoy it xD
